About this property

Welcome to Drury Plaza Hotel Pittsburgh Downtown

Situated in the heart of downtown Pittsburgh, Drury Plaza Hotel Pittsburgh Downtown occupies a distinctive building that once housed the Federal Reserve. Its location on Grant Street offers easy access to the city's main attractions, including nearby cultural sites such as The Andy Warhol Museum and Phipps Conservatory. The hotel is also within convenient reach of the Amtrak station and provides straightforward travel options to Pittsburgh International Airport, making it suitable for both business and leisure travelers.

The property features a practical blend of historic charm and modern amenities. Guests can enjoy an indoor pool, hot tub, and fitness center, along with complimentary breakfast and evening drinks. Public spaces include a bar and a restaurant, while free Wi-Fi, parking, and accessibility services add to its convenience. Reviews highlight the spacious and clean rooms, with some noting unique features like former vaults repurposed as meeting rooms, contributing to the hotel's character.

With a guest rating of 4.7 from over 2,100 reviews, feedback suggests the hotel delivers solid value, comfort, and friendly service. The daily evening Kickback with discounted drinks and snacks is frequently mentioned as a welcome touch. While the location in the bustling business district is generally appreciated, guests also point out that the interior corridors can be somewhat maze-like, potentially affecting navigation within the building.

Its pet-friendly policy and family-oriented services add to its broad appeal, while proximity to venues like Acrisure Stadium makes it a practical choice for sports fans attending local events.

You know what I've never been to a Drury hotel before but it was great. The kick back event each day is one of the best ideas I've seen at a hotel, (for those who don't know, 3 drinks for 2$ and small assortment of food like hotdogs and nachos) it really created an atmosphere each night. Staff were super nice and friendly every morning in the elevators smiling saying hello, and I just liked the vibes. Also breakfast was free each day and so we could always get a small snack before going out which really helps save money and time. Not sure if all Drury hotels are exactly like this but I would love to return to this one in Pittsburgh when I return one day.

It may take awhile to get to your room along the maze like hallways but its worth ot when you see the size of your room. Very large and clean, along with the bathroom, tub style if you want with hot water and decent water pressure. The resturant bar downstairs is great to meet patrons but also has a delivery service if you want it to your room. Staff are very friendly and knowledgeable of the city. It's a very short walk from the Amtrak and bust station, which makes traveling to and from convenient.

Our stay at the Downtown Pittsburgh Drury Inn was excellent from start to finish. The rooms were immaculate, spacious, and very comfortable. As first-time visitors to Pittsburgh, we were initially hesitant about staying downtown, but the location felt very safe and was conveniently walkable to many attractions. The amenities truly distinguish this property from others. The pool and hot tub, complimentary popcorn and beverages, included breakfast, and evening kickbacks were outstanding and added tremendous value to our stay. One area for improvement would be clearer communication regarding the concierge fee prior to booking, or inclusion of this cost within the room rate for greater transparency. The staff was consistently professional, warm, and attentive, including management, dining staff, and concierge services. Their hospitality made us feel genuinely welcome and well cared for throughout our visit. This was one of the best hotel experiences we have had. We will certainly return and will choose Drury Hotels for future stays. Highly impressed.

stayed at the Drury Plaza Hotel Pittsburgh Downtown in November while in town for the Steelers game, and I couldn’t have been happier with the experience. From the moment I checked in, the service was warm, friendly, and efficient — exactly what you want after a long drive. The hotel itself is beautiful, clean, and surprisingly quiet given its central location. My room was spacious and comfortable with a great bed, plenty of room to spread out, and everything felt well-kept and updated. I especially appreciated how relaxing it was to come back to after the game. The added perks are what really set this place apart. The evening Kickback with complimentary food and drinks was a huge win — unexpected and genuinely convenient. Breakfast in the morning was hearty with lots of options, which made getting an early start easy. Location is perfect. Downtown is walkable, and getting to and from Acrisure Stadium for the Steelers game was very manageable. Whether by rideshare or walking part of the way, the hotel made it easy without the stress of parking near the stadium. Overall, Drury Plaza delivered comfort, value, and convenience across the board. I’d absolutely stay here again the next time I come to Pittsburgh — especially for a football weekend.

The hotel was very clean. The sheets smelled amazing. The staff was phenomenal...front desk and valet were great! Anteres was especially wonderful. They were professional, friendly, and very accommodating. It makes me want to stay at a Drury Hotel in the future. We will definitely stay at this one if we are in the Pittsburgh area again. It's easy to get to from Rt. 28 and easy to get back to Rt. 28. To get to the courthouse, you only have to take a crosswalk. I highly recommend this hotel.

The Drury. Goodness. This place was perfect. From the moment you walk in the revolving door to the second that you leave, you will not find staff better than the employees at this hotel. Front desk staff...the absolute best. Very accommodating and genuinely just good people. The hotel itself was great. The rooms were extremely clean and comfortable. Great view of the city from the large windows in the living room area. Free drink passes daily to go along with the evening drink and dinner hours. Every night, complimentary food. I can only imagine the breakfast was the same, although we never made it to breakfast, I hear it's great. The indoor pool and hot tub were a lovely added bonus. The gym and "snack shack" were perfect. 24 hr fresh coffee available in the lobby. Popcorn was also available every night in the lobby. Straight out the popcorn machine. There is not one negative thing to say about this lovely hotel. Pittsburgh loves their Steelers and them beating the Ravens was icing on the cake! The stadium is also in walking distance from the hotel. I'll definitely be back to PA and I'll always choose this hotel to stay at. Thank you all so much!

The location of the hotel is just perfect, because it is located right in Downtown Pittsburgh and is very close to the Amtrak station, the theaters, the museums, and all the city’s major attractions. The building is quite interesting in itself, since it used to house the offices of the Federal Reserve and showcases items of that past time, such as the giant vaults in the basement turned into meeting rooms or the firing range transformed into a pool. The staff is very kind and reliable, and the rooms are quiet, spacious, and comfortable. The perks of this hotel include a delicious breakfast every morning and one drink with unlimited food that are offered for free every evening. I highly recommend it and I will definitely go back there next time I visit Pittsburgh!

Great location near the Heinz museum and strip district. The rooms were clean and spacious. Fantastic re-use of a former US treasury building. The basement level has the vault doors intact and it’s a great piece of history intact to view and enjoy. The outdoor space in the 6th floor has nice views especially at night. Although the food was good and plentiful, the breakfast was the same each day of our 3 day stay and 2 nightly kickbacks had the same menu. Drury usually changes the menu daily. The staff was friendly, welcoming and helpful. We had an issue with only 4 towels for a family of 5 and each day we had to request an additional towel.
